$50K Powerball Ticket Bought In Dakota County

MINNESOTA — A lucky Minnesota Powerball player won $50,000 Wednesday, thanks to a ticket sold in Hastings. The ticket matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball to win the prize.

The Hastings Holiday, located at 1500 Vermillion Street, sold the $50,000 winning ticket. The Oct. 24 winning Powerball numbers were 3-21-45-53-56 and the Powerball was 22.

Gopher 5

Another lottery player won $1.8 million this week. The lucky player’s Gopher 5 ticket matched all five numbers drawn — 9-22-25-38-46 — to win the jackpot.

The $1.8 million jackpot is the third-highest in the game’s history. The Holiday store in Buffalo, Minnesota will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning Gopher 5 ticket, according to a news release.
