• District 196 students recognized by National Merit Program (hometownsource.com) — Students from District 196, including two seniors from Apple Valley High School, have been honored by the National Merit Scholarship Program for scoring among the top 5% nationwide on the PSAT. Fifteen district students are semifinalists and 21 are Commended Students, highlighting strong academic performance across Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, and Eastview high schools as scholarship announcements continue into next year.
