• Apple Valley Street Racing Crash Leaves Two Injured, Tesla Engulfed in Flames (limitless-news.com) — A high-speed street racing crash at McAndrews Road and Diamond Path in Apple Valley left two people with minor injuries and a Tesla destroyed by fire after it hit a light pole and fence near homes. Police say racing and excessive speed were key factors, and they're still determining whether to issue citations or find the second racing vehicle. Apple Valley Fire and EMS responded, and both vehicles were towed.
   

• 71-Year-Old Bicyclist Seriously Injured After Being Struck by SUV at Apple Valley Intersection; Driver Cited (limitless-news.com) — A 71-year-old Apple Valley bicyclist was seriously hurt after a Minneapolis driver in a Honda CR-V struck him while turning left at Galaxie Avenue and McAndrews Road, despite the cyclist having a green light. Police say the rider was traveling north in the roadway through the intersection when hit, and the driver couldn't recall his speed or signal status. The crash report lists the injuries as serious.
