Kristie Young Sprague, 60, of Rosemount, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at her home after a long, 16-year, courageous fight with cancer. Kristie was born Oct. 25, 1951 to William and Beatrice Young in Minneapolis. She grew up in Burnsville attending school at St. Johns of Savage. She graduated from Burnsville High School in 1969. Kristie was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Young. She is survived by her husband, Jack; father, William; five brothers Paul, James, Mark, Bob, and Peter; two sisters Mickey and Nancy; five children, Kelly; Kalee; Bob; Chuck; and Rachel; and eleven grandchildren CJ, Colt, Marlee, Noah, Caleb, Allison, Jocie, William, Aiyana, Katherine, and Sagan. Kristie loved people, music, and especially her grandchildren; she will be missed. Private services are planned. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society .
