Richard John Daniels, 79, of Rosemount, passed away on Aug. 15, 2012. Richard was born in Rochester, NY on Sept. 14, 1932 and graduated from Aquinas Institute Rochester in 1950, and attended St. John Fisher College Rochester,. He is survived by son, Mark (Stacy); grandchildren, Reed, Evan and Callie. Richard was preceded in death by his dearly loved wife of 57 years, Joan (they said it would not last). Richard was a proud Veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps stationed in Germany. Richard was employed by 3M Company St. Paul, with assignment stops in Cincinnati, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. He retired in 1994 after 34 years of service. Richard will be cremated and interred in a private family ceremony alongside and reunited in partnership with his wife at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
