Robin Peterson, president of Coldwell Banker Burnet and Apple Valley resident, was named a Girl Scouts Centennial Trailblazer Honoree by Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys at the Centennial Awards Gala that took place on April 21.
Trailblazer Honorees are women whose pioneering efforts have opened doors for other women. Peterson is also recognized as a Girl Scout Alumnae and a community member who exemplifies the culture, values, diversity and spirit of the Girl Scout Movement.
Peterson embodies the qualities of courage, confidence, character and community contribution that Girl Scouts strive to develop in girls. She began her journey as a Brownie Scout in first through third grade and Girl Scouts in fourth through sixth grade. She spent her summers at Girl Scout camp and earned many badges.

Her troop leader wrote of Peterson, “Robin is mature, conscientious, cooperative and has proved a good leader and worker and has been a joy to have.”
“I am thrilled to be given such a great honor,” said Peterson. “Scouting provides a great foundation for children and fosters skills to be used throughout life. My daughter, Dana Peterson Young also participated in the scouting experience.”
