Animal Poisonings Reported In Apple Valley

Apple Valley police are unaware of how the animal poisonings happened but urge residents to be cautious.

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The Apple Valley Police Department is warning residents about possible animal poisoning. Officers have responded to two animal poisoning calls involving multiple animal victims including pets and non-domesticated animals in the residential area around Garden View Dr. and Co. Rd. 42.

Police are unaware of how the poisonings happened but urge residents to be cautious. There have been reports of animal poisonings in other metro cities recently as well.

Residents are urged to watch out for suspicious activity in their neighborhood and to contact your veterinarian if you suspect your pet may have been poisoned. If your vet determines the animal has been poisoned, authorities ask that you call 911 to report it.
