APPLE VALLEY, MN — Are you looking for a week-long event of fun and games that culminates with 4th of July fireworks? You're in luck. Apple Valley's annual Freedom Days festival is right around the corner. Here is the current schedule of events:

Tuesday, June 27: Fishing Derby at Lac Lavon Fishing Pier

• Lac Lavon Fishing Pier, off Gardenview Drive, Apple Valley
• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Registration starts at 5:30 pm at the site.

Friday, June 30: J & K Amusements Carnival

• 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Armband: $15, 6 p.m.- 10 p.m.
• Johnny Cake Ridge Park East: 5800 140th St W – Apple Valley

Saturday, July 1: Car and Motorcycle Show

• Where: Johnny Cake Ridge Park – East
• Time: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Vendor Fair at Johnnycake

Sunday, July 2: Music in the Park

• Music by Saddle Sores. Featuring classic country music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
