Apple Valley: Get Your Free CELLslip
Apple Valley police have a limited number of CELLslips, a protective case that prevents your phone from receiving messages.
APPLE VALLEY, MN — The Apple Valley Police Department likes to remind residents not to text and drive, and now they have a tool to help you with their request. Police say they have a limited number of CELLslips, a protective case that prevents your phone from receiving messages.
Simply slip your phone into the pocket before you start driving, and any calls or texts to your phone will be temporarily blocked.
Stop by the Apple Valley Police Department to get yours (one cellslip per cell phone presented). School Resource Officers assigned to Apple Valley and Eastview High Schools also have a supply.
