Apple Valley Man Sentenced For Producing Child Porn
Joseph Thor Perkins, 36, faces nearly 30 years in prison.
APPLE VALLEY, MN — Joseph Thor Perkins, 36, was sentenced to 28 years in prison Tuesday for sexually exploiting minors. The Apple Valley resident pleaded guilty back in January to one count of production of child pornography.
Perkins contacted four children online and enticed them to send him images of themselves engaged in sexually explicit conduct, police said.

After receiving images, he encouraged them to meet him in person and engage in sexual acts so he could take photos, according to investigators.
