Apple Valley Resident Found Burglary Suspect In Bathroom
Police believe the suspect was involved in two burglary incidents in Apple Valley.

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating two burglaries in the 800 block of Cortland Drive and Fireside Drive they say occurred Oct. 24 between midnight and 5 am. In both incidents, the homes were occupied and the suspect made entry through an unlocked door.
One resident found the suspect in a vehicle in the garage, while the other found the suspect in the bathroom.
One victim reported $800 cash was taken from the residence. Both residents described the suspect as a younger man

Police believe the same suspect was involved in both incidents.
Anyone with video surveillance — such as security systems, video doorbells, or exterior cameras — is asked to view footage from that evening and contact Crime Prevention Specialist Pam Walter (952) 953-2706.
