Apple Valley's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Time, Weather Forecast

APPLE VALLEY, MN – July 4th is a little more than a day away, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Apple Valley so you can start planning now.

Weather Forecast

Keep your fingers crossed for clear skies on Thursday as the current forecast calls for a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day and in the evening, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature is forecast to peak at 84 degrees.

Here's the July 4th festivities lineup in Apple Valley:

What: Apple Valley Freedom Days

Where: Johnny Cake Ridge Park East

When: Thursday, July 4, 2019

• 8 a.m. — Freedom Days fun run
• 1 p.m. — Parade (See parade route here)
• 10 p.m. — Fireworks at Johnny Cake Ridge Park East

Don't forget: Chairs, tarps, blankets and other seating for the Apple Valley parade can be put in place beginning at 9 a.m. July 3. Anything left before that time will be removed by the city and will be available for pickup at the Apple Valley Community Center.
