Boys ISD196 Nordic Ski Team Wins South Suburban Conference, Girls Take 3rd
Photos and Results from the Boys and Girls ISD 196 Nordic Ski Team competing in the South Suburban Conference meet on Wednesday afternoon at the Murphy Hanrehan Park Reserve in Savage.
On the bitterly cold day of February 2nd, the Boys and Girls District 196 Nordic Ski Team turned up the heat as they competed in the South Suburban Conference meet. The meet conisted of a freestyle race in the morning and a classic race in the afternoon. The boys team led by Seniors Andy Dodds and Chris Parr finished first overall in the conference with 173 pts on the day. The Girls led by Sonja Hedblom and Anne Ferguson took third place with 123pts.
