School Bus Drove Over 10-Year-Old Boy In Apple Valley: Police
The boy was walking in a middle school parking lot when he slipped on ice next to a school bus.

APPLE VALLEY, MN — A 10-year-old boy suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a school bus in Apple Valley Monday morning, authorities say. Apple Valley police responded to a report of a "traffic crash" in the parking lot of Scott Highlands Middle School (14011 Pilot Knob Road) just before 8 a.m.
A boy had been walking in the parking lot when he slipped on ice next to a "slow moving" bus that drove over either his foot or leg, according to police. He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
The Minnesota State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Inspections Unit and Apple Valley Police Department are investigating.
