This collision forced the front-end of the Sebring into the rear-end of a "roll off" trailer being pulled by a 2017 Freightliner semi-truck. Both occupants of the Sebring were pinned in the Sebring underneath the Peterbilt semi-truck until a towing company could hoist it off and fire crews could extricate them.
Both occupants of the Sebring and all four occupants of the Prius were transported to Omaha hospitals by Omaha fire rescue squads to be treated for injuries ranging from serious to critical. The driver of the semi did not suffer injury, police said.
