Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Dakota County Tuesday
The Dakota County Sheriff's Office told Patch that a female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning.
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — A Dakota County road closed following a crash Tuesday morning. At about 5:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a crash involving injuries on County Road 68 (200th Street East), east of County Road 54 (Ravenna Trail) in Ravenna Township. The Dakota County Sheriff's Office told Patch in an email that a female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle and sustained unknown injuries.
The female was transported via ambulance to Regions Hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol has requested to conduct a reconstruction of the incident.
Specific details as to the cause of the crash remain under investigation. County Road 68 has since reopened to the public.
