Dakota County Roads Close Due To Flooding
Some areas of Dakota County are reporting at least 4 inches of water on the roadway Thursday.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Authorities have received multiple reports of flooded roads in Dakota County Thursday. In the event you are driving in the southern and eastern parts of Dakota County, police ask that you allow yourself extra time to reach your destinations.
As of Thursday morning, here are the road closures in the area:
- Road Closed: MN 19 and 28th Street (near Cannon Falls) - Right lane closed southbound 52
- Road Closed: Highway 20 (south of four corners) from 240th Street E.
- Road Closed: Douglas Township - Joan south of 240th Street E.
- Road Closed: Marshan Township - 190th Street at Michael
Some areas are reporting at least 4 inches of water on the roadway. When possible, avoid roads that appear to be flooded. It only takes 6 inches of water before you can completely lose control of your vehicle.

Dakota County remains under a flood watch until today at 7 p.m. The county's dense fog advisory will last through 10 a.m.
