Driver Crashes Into Tree In Eagan, Rosemount Woman Dies

EAGAN, MN — A 26-year-old Rosemount woman died after the car she was riding in collided with a tree late Tuesday. The crash took place off the westbound Highway 13 ramp to southbound Highway 77 just after 10 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Volkswagon Routan — being driven by 30-year-old Mohamedoqadar Alinoor of Savage —went off the road and struck a tree.

Alinoor suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Regions Hospital.

Passenger Isabelle Marie Nappi died at the scene. She was not wearing her seat belt, according to authorities.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, police said.
