Eastview Top Seed in Boys, Girls Section 3AA Soccer Tournaments
Section quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Tuesday.
Eastview is the top seed in the boys and girls Class 3AA soccer tournaments, both of which get underway Tuesday.

The top-seeded Lightning (9-2-4 overall) will host eighth-seeded Hastings in the teams’ quarterfinal game at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
In the other quarterfinals on Tuesday, second-seeded Apple Valley (12-1-3 overall) will host seventh-seeded Park at 7 p.m., number-six Rosemount (8-7-1 overall) will visit number-three Henry Sibley and fourth-seeded Eagan will host number-five Burnsville. All of these matches start at 7 p.m, as well.

The winners of the Eastview-Hastings and Eagan-Burnsville matches will meet in one of Thursday’s semifinals at a site to be determined. The other semifinal will pit the winners of the Apple Valley-Park and Henry Sibley-Rosemount matches.
The section finals is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Park High School.
GIRLS SOCCER
Top-seeded Eastview (10-3-1 overall) will host number-eight St. Paul Highland Park at 5 p.m. in one of four quarterfinal matches scheduled for Tuesday.
Also on tap are number-four Apple Valley (7-6-2 overall) hosting fifth-seeded Rosemount (5-8-2 overall) at 5 p.m., second-seeded Park hosting number-seven Henry Sibley at 7 p.m. and third-seeded Eagan hosting number-six Hastings at 5 p.m.
The winners of the Eastview-St. Paul Highland Park and Apple Valley-Rosemount matches will meet in one of Thursday’s semifinals on Thursday at a site to be determined. The other semifinal will pit the winners of the Park-Henry Sibley and Eagan-Hastings matches.
