Parent Education Conference

The keynote address, “Be the Parent You Want to Be,” will be delivered by developmental psychologist Dr. Marti Erickson and maternal-child health specialist Erin Erickson, the mother-daughter cohosts of Mom Enough.

The District 196 Parent Education Conference was selected to receive a 2011 Project Award from the Minnesota Community Education Association (MCEA). Organized by the District 196 Community Education Department, the Parent Education Conference is currently in its sixth year. The free half-day event features a keynote speaker, breakout workshops on a wide variety of parenting topics and a resource fair.

The Parent Education Conference is free to attend, but registration is requested online or by calling 651-423-7920. Child care is available by request for $10 per family.
