Former Apple Valley Wrestler Receives Probation, Community Service for Misdemeanor
Harold Duke Delancy, 19, was convicted of a petty misdemeanor for hitting another wrestler with a chair at The Clash wrestling tournament in January.

An Apple Valley High School student and former member of the school's wrestling team received a year's probation and 40 hours community service in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge for disturbing an assembly or meeting, according to court records.
Harold Duke Delancy, 19, originally was charged on two disorderly conduct counts. The second charge, for offensive or abusive disorderly conduct, was dismissed Wednesday, court records show.
The conviction on the first charge is a petty misdemeanor.

The charges stemmed from an incident at The Clash wrestling tournament in Rochester, MN, on Jan. 7, where Delancy hit a wrestler from Oregon in the head with a chair, according to a story from the Rochester Post-Bulletin.
Apple Valley High School Principal Steve Degenaar said Delancy was removed from the team after the incident.

Delancy's sentence also includes completing counseling, court records show, and his community service must be completed by Aug. 16.
