Annual Dancin’ And Cruisin’ Classic Car Show

Check out classic cars, custom builds and vintage favorites at the Annual Dancin' and Cruisin' Classic Car Show at the Apple Valley American Legion 1776. The family-friendly event features live music, food, awards and hundreds of automotive enthusiasts gathering for an evening of community fun. Admission for vehicle entries is $20, with proceeds supporting local fundraising efforts.

Casting With The Cops At Cobblestone Lake Fishing Pier
When: Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Where: Cobblestone Lake | 15601 Cobblestone Lake Pkwy, Apple Valley
Admission: Free
Kids can enjoy an evening of fishing and fun at Casting with the Cops at Cobblestone Lake. This free, pre-registered event includes bait, treats, fishing prize giveaways and a special K9 demonstration, giving young anglers a chance to connect with local law enforcement while enjoying the outdoors.
Carnival
When: Thursday, July 2, 2026, 5–9:30 p.m.
Where: Johnny Cake Park East | 5800 140th St W, Apple Valley
Admission: Free
Bring the family to Johnny Cake Park East for an evening of carnival fun featuring exciting rides and festive Fourth of July entertainment. Ride wristbands are available for $20 and provide access to carnival attractions from 5 to 9 p.m.
Kiddie Parade
When: Frida, July 3, 2026, 5 p.m.
Where: Scott Highlands Middle School Parking Lot | 14011 Pilot Knob Rd, Apple Valley
Admission: Free
Family Fun Night at Johnny Cake Park East is packed with activities including carnival rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting, food trucks and vehicle tours with local police, fire and public works departments. Admission is free, with select attractions available for an additional fee.
Cub Foods Family Fun Night
When: Friday, July 3, 2026, 5–9 p.m.
Where: Johnny Cake Park East | 5800 140th St W, Apple Valley
Admission: Free

Apple Valley Freedom Days Parade

Where: Pennock Avenue at Fireside Drive, Apple Valley
Admission: Free
A longtime Apple Valley tradition, the Fourth of July Parade features marching bands, drum and bugle corps, horses, classic vehicles, clowns and plenty of patriotic fun. The family-friendly procession begins at Pennock Avenue and Fireside Drive and travels to Apple Valley High School.
Fireworks Show
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 9:30 p.m.

Admission: Free
Cap off Independence Day in Apple Valley with a spectacular fireworks display at Johnny Cake Park East. The dazzling show begins after dusk, around 9:30 p.m., and provides a memorable finale to a full day of patriotic celebrations.
