Girl, 17, Dies In Rosemount Crash On Way To School With Brother
The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
ROSEMOUNT, MN — A girl who died in a single-car crash Thursday morning has been identified. Trisha Lea Maher, 17, of Hastings was a passenger in a vehicle that rolled into a utility pole off of Blaine Avenue just north of 152nd Street East in Rosemount.
The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. Maher died at the scene. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled that she died from multiple blunt force injuries.
Maher was in a pickup truck being driven by her 18-year-old brother, authorities told the Pioneer Press. They were on their way to school. Road conditions may have been icy at the time.
