Information on Candidate Forums in Apple Valley

Looking to find out more about local candidates running for office in the Apple Valley area? As voters prepare for the election, there are several candidate forums that are held to provide more information about candidates for office.

League of Women Voters Candidate Forum October 27th at Falcon Ridge School

The League of Women Voters (LWV) Saint Paul is holding the District 57 Legislative Candidate Forum on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the theater of Falcon Ridge Middle School, 12900 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, MN 55124.

Candidates scheduled to appear include:

• Cory Campbell (SD57)
• Greg Clausen (SD57)
• Ali-Jimenez-Hopper (57A)
• Erin Maye Quade (57A)
• Anna Wills (57B)
• John Huot (57B)

The event is free and open to the public. The LWV is a nonpartisan organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, according to a news release. Event partners include National Council of Jewish Women, Civic Eagle, Every Child Matters, Jewish Community Action, and LWV St. Louis Park.

Apple Valley Chamber Candidate Forum (Oct. 12)

The Chamber forum was video-taped and is being replayed on Channel 180 until Nov. 7 on the following dates/times:

• Mondays: 1:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• Tuesdays: 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• Wednesdays: 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
• Thursdays: 7:00 a.m.
• Fridays: 9:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
• Saturdays: 12:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
• Sundays 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
