Kids' Consignment Sale Back in Apple Valley

Apple Valley, MN – The economy may be on an upswing, but there are families in Dakota County struggling to provide basics for their children, including clothing. From Yours To Mine is proud to help local families stretch their budget even further.

From Yours To Mine is hosting their fall/winter Kids Consignment Sale September 24-26 at the former Menard’s building in Apple Valley. Over 250 families will bring their new and gently used kids’ items like toys, clothes, and baby equipment for shoppers to choose from. The sale event is set up just like a department store, with items from different sellers arranged together by size or by type.

There is still plenty of time for local families to sign up and sell their kids’ outgrown toys, clothes, and equipment at this event. Sellers receive 65% of their total sales, and an extra 10% for any item that sells for $45 or more. Please check the website at www.fytmsale.com for requirements and how to register as a seller.

Tickets are required to shop on Friday, September 24. There are multiple different pre-sale options available including prime time shopping tickets at 2pm for $6, free tickets for teachers, first-responders, and other heroes at 4pm, and free tickets for new and expecting parents/grandparents at 5pm. Tickets are limited and are not sold at the door. Please check the website to secure your ticket for Friday.

Tickets are not required to shop on Saturday, September 25 from 9a-7p, and Sunday, September 26 from 9a-2p. Many items will be 50% off on Sunday.

The sale event is held at the former Menard’s store at 14960 Florence Trail, Apple Valley MN, 55124.

“We have been organizing kids’ consignment sales since 2007” says Henriette Roe, an Apple Valley mom of three and the event organizer. “This will be our 32nd event and we are so happy to continuously provide this resource to local families, even with the extra difficulty of Covid restrictions. Selling and shopping helps keep local resources within the local community – family to family.”
