Lake Minnetonka Drowning Victim Identified As Apple Valley Man
The drowning occurred Thursday at Commons Beach.
APPLE VALLEY, MN — A man who drowned in Lake Minnetonka Thursday night has been identified as a man from Apple Valley, according to a news release from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
Benjamin Garcia Lopez, 26, was recovered at Commons Beach at Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, officials said.
Lopez was pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m. at Hennepin Healthcare's emergency room, officials said.
