Lakeville Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With Pickup Driver, 18

PRIOR LAKE, MN — A 36-year-old motorcyclist from Lakeville was killed Thursday afternoon in a crash on Highway 13 in Prior Lake. Andre Rory Caine was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, according to authorities.

Caine was riding a Suzuki GZXR southbound on Highway 13 at 150th Street in Prior Lake.

A Ford F150 — being driven by 18-year-old Benjamin Jacob Provost of Prior Lake — was traveling northbound on Highway 13 to turn west on 150th Street. The Ford turned on a flashing yellow signal and was struck broadside on the passenger side by the Suzuki motorcycle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Caine died at the scene.

Prior Lake and Savage police responded along with Prior Lake fire crews and Allina Ambulance.
