McAndrews, Dodd Closed In Rosemount

City officials say the sinkhole was a result of an underground boring problem associated with the Northern Natural Gas pipeline project.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — McAndrews Road and Dodd Boulevard will be closed through Friday morning after a sinkhole opened up near the intersection last week. City officials say the sinkhole was a result of an underground boring problem associated with the Northern Natural Gas pipeline project.

Dakota County crews are working to fix the issue, and repairs should be completed by Friday morning, depending on the weather. Until the repairs are completed, motorists are asked to avoid the intersection.

McAndrews is open west of Dodd.
