APPLE VALLEY, MN — Memorial Day is a national holiday, set aside so Americans can honor servicemen and women who gave their lives for their country. While it's also the unofficial start of summer, remember that schools and government offices will be closed on that day. Apple Valley city offices will be closed Monday, May 29, in honor of Memorial Day.
