Minnesota's 50 Best Public High Schools For 2020

MINNESOTA — Minnetonka Senior High School is Minnesota's best public high school for 2020, according to a new set of rankings released by Niche.com this week.

The rankings were released as part of Niche's 2020 K-12 rankings. Minnetonka Senior High School, Wayzata High School, Edina Senior High School, Eden Prairie Senior High School, and Math & Science Academy closed out the top five spots in the state.

To arrive at these rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

According to Niche, the best public high school in the country is Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology in Alexandria, Virginia.
