Mother’s Day 2017 Twin Cities: MN Zoo Free Admission For Moms

APPLE VALLEY, MN — Bring your special mom to meet some special animal moms during the Minnesota Zoo’s Macy’s Mother’s Day Weekend celebration. Moms will receive free admission both Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8, 2016 (parking fee of $5 required).

Now is a great time to visit the Minnesota Zoo: the weather is beautiful, there are new babies (including a camel and takin calf) along the Northern Trail, the Wells Fargo Family Farm is open for the season, and of course, the Tropics Trail, Medtronic Minnesota Trail, and Discovery Bay are teeming with diverse animals and vibrant color. There will also be special offers at the gift store and Penguin Cafe’ for moms during both days.

Interested in taking your mom to an IMAX movie for free while you’re here? Your mom will receive free admission with your paying ticket on Sunday, May 8, according to a news release.

The Minnesota Zoo is located in Apple Valley, minutes south of Mall of America. Its mission is to connect people, animals and the natural world to save wildlife.
