PHOTOS: Rosemount Wins Track and Field Invitational
With the temps hitting the 60s, many teams were ready for track and field Friday.
There's no place like home.
The Rosemount High School boys track and field team hosted—and walked away with the win at—the Jim Sauer Invitational meet Friday. Rosemount scored 178.1, while Eastview scored 137 for second.
Myles Phillips and Andrew Hausmann from Rosemount scored first and second, respectively, in the 200-meter dash by both coming across the line in less than 23 seconds. Hausmann also finished first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.07 seconds.

Rosemount's Tyler Henkemeyer placed first in the 1,600-meter run with a final time of 4:33:53.
The Irish also took the top two spots in the 3,200-meter run and first place in the 4x200 meter relay, 4x400 meter relay, 4x800 meter relay and boys shot put.
