Prior Lake Woman Killed In Crash With Semi

WASECA COUNTY, MN — A 50-year-old woman from Prior Lake has died after her car collided into a semi in southern Minnesota Monday afternoon. The crash happened in Otisco Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Freightliner semi truck was northbound on Highway 13.

Just before 1:40 p.m. a 2013 Lincoln going southbound crossed over the center and collided with the Freightliner, according to authorities. Kelly Renee Merrill died at the scene.

The driver of the Freightliner, a 26-year-old, did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
