Red Cross Blood Drive at Hosanna! Church on Friday, March 20th
Information about Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, March 20th from Noon - 6:00pm at Hosanna Church in Lakeville

March is Red Cross Month, the perfect time to uncover your inner hero and give blood. Your act of heroism takes only about one hour and can help save the lives of accident victims, cancer patients, children with blood disorders and others with serious conditions.
Please join us on Friday, March 20th from Noon to 6:00pm at Hosanna! Church in Lakeville. To make an appointment visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-REDCROSS.
On average, the Red Cross must collect about 15,000 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of patients.
Blood donors of all types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative, and platelet donors.
Type O negative is the universal blood type and can be transfused to patients with any blood type.
Types A and B negative can be transfused to Rh positive or negative patients.
Platelets – a key clotting component of blood often needed by cancer patients – must be transfused within five days of donation, so it’s important to have a steady supply of platelets on hand.
