The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event geared toward ending cancer and uniting communities across the globe to fight back against this disease. In Apple Valley teams camp out at Quarry Point Athletic Complex and take turns walking or running around the track while entertainment, music and activities keep things lively. Symbolizing the battle waged around the clock by those fighting cancer, the event lasts for 12 hours, beginning with a powerful Celebration ceremony, lasting through the darkness of night as we Rememberloved ones lost, and finishing with the dawn of a new day and an inspiring Fight Backrally.
