Rosemount Elementary and Middle School Canceled Friday
The district made the announcement at 9 a.m. Friday following significant storm damage and power outages.
ROSEMOUNT, MN — Due to significant overnight storm damage, school for both Rosemount Elementary and Middle Schools is canceled, the district shared just before 9 a.m. Friday.
This news follows significant power outages in Dakota County due to overnight storms, the district said.

In addition to this news, the district shared that all other schools in the district will be starting two hours later than normal due to storm damage and power outages.

School buses could also be delayed in the rest of the district as they work to safely bring students to and from school, the district said.
Connections PreSchool and Early Childhood Special Education classes in the district are cancelled, the district said.
