Rosemount Father Of Twin Girls, 3-Year-Old Son Killed In Crash
Witnesses told authorities the other driver blew a stop sign.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — A Rosemount family is mourning the loss of a father after a crash in the south Twin Cities metro Saturday evening.
Jillayne Lazer was driving a Chevrolet Traverse west on 190th Street with her husband Jared, 34, and their three children, ages 5, 5, and 2.
Witnesses told police that a Ford F-150, driven by 36-year-old Jon Fontaine of Farmington with his 12-year-old son in a passenger seat, was traveling south on Goodwin Avenue and did not slow for the stop sign.

The pickup went through the intersection and collided with the front end of the Traverse, causing it to roll, authorities said. Both vehicles ended up in the southwest ditch of the intersection.
Both Jared Lazer and Jon Fontaine died at the scene. The five other victims were transported to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

"Jared was a loving husband and father of twin 5-year old girls, Peyton and Audrey and a 3-year old son, Parker," reads a GoFundMe established for Jared. "The love, dedication and adoration to his wife and children was evident in everything he did, as his family was his world."
"On Father's Day, instead of celebrating a special dad, we are mourning the loss of an incredible person. "
