i9 Sports South Metro Minneapolis is a locally owned youth sports organization serving families throughout Bloomington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Savage, Prior Lake, Shakopee, Lakeville, Jordan, St. Paul, New Prague, and surrounding cities. The organization provides recreational league play for boys and girls ages 3–14, focusing on building confidence, character, and teamwork within the local community. They offer a variety of youth programs including soccer, flag football, basketball, baseball, and tennis. Designed to accommodate busy schedules, the organization features a convenient one-day-a-week format where practices and games occur on the same day. Their seasonal programs run for 5–7 weeks throughout the year, ensuring consistent opportunities for skill development across multiple sports. Families can expect a safe and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to participate, as the organization maintains a no-tryouts policy. To ensure a positive experience for all participants, all coaches are required to complete background checks, providing parents with peace of mind while their children learn and grow.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — The city of Rosemount announced that its splash pad opened at 10 a.m. Friday.The splash pad, located at 2893 145th Street West, will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, the city said.This year, the city said it added a covered shelter with picnic tables and a drinking fountain to the site of the splash pad.The 3,700 square foot splash pad is operated by hand and foot activators and run for a limited time, so the water only runs while someone is using the splash pad, the city said.
