Scary Rosemount Wreck Caught On Trooper's Dash Cam
The trooper was responding to an earlier crash when his squad car was struck by a minivan.
ROSEMOUNT, MN — New video of a frightening car crash on Highway 52 in Rosemount shows how dangerous the life of Minnesota state trooper can be. While responding to a crash on the side of the highway Jan. 15, a minivan slammed into the trooper's squad car before spinning out into the snow.
The driver saw the squad's flashing lights, tried to slow down, but lost control on the snow-covered road and crashed, authorities said. Thankfully, no one was injured in the collision.
"Keep your eyes on the horizon so you have plenty of time to move over when you see flashing lights ahead," officials said in a statement. "If you can’t move over, you must slow down. It’s the law."
