Special Delivery! Apple Valley Police Respond To Woman In Labor
At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lindsey Abigail was brought into this world by two of Apple Valley's patrol officers.

Special Delivery! On Wednesdayafternoon, Apple Valley officers were dispatched to a call of a woman in labor in her home.
When the officers arrived, they found the expecting mother in active labor.
The baby was quickly making her way out and paramedics were not there yet, according to police. At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lindsey Abigail was brought into this world by two of Apple Valley's patrol officers.

Mom and baby are reportedly doing fine.

"Delivering a baby is one of the most stressful yet rewarding experiences a police officer can have," Apple Valley police said on Facebook. "Congratulations to everyone involved on a successful delivery!"
