Electronics and appliance disposal fees will be paid directly to Certified Recycling.
June 3, 2020
The City of Rosemount’s annual Spring Clean-up day will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m. until 12 Noon at the Dakota County Technical College (DCTC). This clean-up event allows Rosemount residents to dispose of unwanted items not normally accepted by their residential trash hauler. Some items are accepted free of charge, others require a disposal fee. In addition, the city has partnered with the Michelle Hoagland Group, Keller Williams Preferred Realty to offer confidential paper and document shredding, free of charge.

Residents should be prepared to pay a fee to the City of Rosemount for disposal of items including furniture, tires, some scrap metal, and more. Electronics and appliance disposal fees will be paid directly to Certified Recycling. Only cash and check will be accepted. Residents should be prepared to pay two separate fees depending on the items they wish to dispose of. The shredding of unwanted personal papers or confidential files will be done on site by Shred Right at no cost to participants. For a complete list of accepted items and the disposal fee for each, please see below.
A driver’s license or proof of residency is required for entrance. For safety reasons, children must be closely supervised. Participants will be required to unload their vehicles on their own. Please note, business construction and business debris are not accepted at this event. Businesses large and small must use traditional methods to dispose of waste and recycling.
