Woman, 87, Dies In Gravel Truck Collision In Dakota County
An 87-year-old woman from Vadnais Heights died last week in a crash off Highway 52 in Dakota County.
COATES, MN — A Twin Cities woman died last week in a crash off Highway 52. The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office reports that on June 29, a fatal traffic crash occurred at about 1:19 p.m. on County Road 46 at the Highway 52 ramp.
Dakota County Sheriff Leslie states that Wanda Narum was traveling westbound on County Road 46 and that she attempted to turn onto the southbound ramp to Highway 52 when her vehicle collided with a gravel truck that was eastbound on County Road 46.
Narum was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to a news release. Narum was 87 years old and resided in Vadnais Heights.

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol are continuing the investigation into this crash.
