1 Dead, 1 Arrested After Shooting Near Burnsville Parkway

Officers were called to the reported shooting just after 6:30 p.m. Friday, according to police.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Burnsville police have arrested a suspect in connection with a Friday night shooting that left another person dead.

According to police, officers were called just after 6:30 p.m. to an area near Aldrich Avenue and Burnsville Parkway, where the shooting reportedly took place. Police said two men were involved in the shooting.

Police have not released the identity of the victim.

Investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Residents are being asked to avoid the area while police finish their investigation.
