• ⚠️ RIDER NOTICE: Unauthorized Activity at Heart of the City Station Location (blogspot.com) — Transit riders using Burnsville's Heart of the City Orange Line station are being warned about ongoing aggressive panhandling and harassment around the glass shelters at 12357 Nicollet Avenue. Riders are urged to stay aware, secure belongings, avoid confrontations, and report any threatening behavior immediately to on-site staff or local law enforcement so the situation can be addressed quickly.
   

• More than $120,000 awarded to 2026 Lakefront Music Fest volunteers (plnewscompass.org) — Burnsville Breakfast Rotary Club is among nearly 40 nonprofits sharing over $120,000 raised through Prior Lake's Lakefront Music Fest, rewarding hundreds of volunteer hours. The regional event continues to funnel money back into south metro service groups, and organizers are already planning the 2027 festival with major rock and country headliners booked for Lakefront Park.
