• Burnsville approves 7.69% proposed levy increase (hometownsource.com) — Burnsville's City Council has tentatively approved a 7.69% property tax levy increase for 2027, which would add about $180 to the bill on a median-value home. Most of the added revenue would support police, fire, and other core services, along with 10 new full-time positions. Council members say they'll keep scrutinizing spending before the final vote in December.
