Volunteers needed for clean-up in (3) City parks on Sat., June 2nd from 8a - 12n. On the recommendation of the Parks Dept. we will be picking up litter and trash at Civic Center Park, Black Dog Park and Hollows Park. Bags will be provided and the City will collect the trash after the event. This is an informal, grass roots effort by residents to concentrate on areas that need some TLC. No formal registration required, but we would like an idea of the number of bags to provide, so please let us know if you plan on participating. Open to individuals, groups and kids (with an adult). Please bring your own gloves. When you arrive, check in with the coordinator at the park (wearing a traffic vest) for directions and bags. Check the city website for details or call Lynn at 952-393-7028.
