Margaret E. "Mick" Morelli, 91

Margaret E. "Mick" Morelli (nee Jacob), 91, attended by her loving sons, departed this life May 12, 2012. Her parents were the late Albert Jacob and Louise Kemmler Jacob of Havre, Mt. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Emilio J. Morelli; sisters, Bertha Pierson of Helena MT, Lydia Shortell of Havre MT, Helen Lindy of Colton, CA and brother, Roland Jacob of Powell, WY. She is survived by sons, Thomas E. and wife Phyllis of Richmond, Va., and Gary C. Morelli of Plymouth, MN ; Grandchildren, Dawn Morelli Titmus and husband Edward, of Sutherland, VA, John Roland Morelli and wife Shari of Wynnewood PA.; great grandchildren, Jacob Titmus, Lauren Titmus, Nathen Morelli and Sadie Morelli. She is also survived by Goddaughter and niece, Janice Gaudutis, nieces, Carol Morelli, Linda Morelli Terry, nephews Emil and Greg Fedeli, Jack Morelli, Terry Morelli, and dear friend, Denise Cadott. Mick, the youngest child of German immigrants spent her childhood on the family farm near Havre, MT. Her Father, an expressive realist artist and interior decorator; and Mother, a professionally trained Cook, moved the family into the town of Havre when the children needed to attend grade school. It was in Havre that Mick met and fell in love with Emilio "Mel" Morelli. Mick and Mel enjoyed their life with Mel's career with the US Border Patrol. His assignments required living in diverse places such as internment camps in remote Kooskie, Idaho, Fort Stanton, NM, Kalispell and Missoula, MT., the desert towns of El Centro, CA. and Yuma, AZ, Lerado, TX and Buffalo NY, Puerto Rico, Richmond, VA. and to Burnsville, MN where they retired and lived for over 40 years. Mick was a lover of life, of bridge, board and word games, dogs, birds, flowers, gardens, butterflies, hummingbirds, the beaches of San Juan and the Big Skies of Montana where she grew up. She will be remembered for her love of friends, church, and the enduring love she had for her children and grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Road, Burnsville. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
