Richard I. “Dick” Hansen, of Burnsville, MN, passed away June 4, 2012. He was born in Bode, IA. A graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. A 35-year instructor at Brown Institute, School of Radio and TV Broadcasting. Dick was a gifted artist in many mediums, a member of the Augustana choir, excellent radio and TV announcer, a great joke teller, and one of the kindest people to have walked this earth. Survived by wife of 47 years, Judy; children, Chris (Sarah), Missy, Heather (Jim) and Cary; two grandchildren, Savannah and Skylar. Memorial Mass was held at Mary, Mother of the Church, small chapel downstairs, 3333 Cliff Rd., Burnsville, Tuesday, June 12.
