Burnsville Blanks Eastview 8-0 in Softball
Top-ranked Burnsville goes to 6-0 in girls fastpitch softball with conference win on the road Monday
After a three-day layoff, top-ranked Burnsville continued where it left off Monday afternoon, roughing up host Eastview 8-0 in a South Suburban Conference girls softball contest.
The Blaze jumped out to a 4-run lead in the second inning. Junior Abby Harazin hit a RBI double. Sophomore Megan Threlkeld singled in a run and freshman Kelly Grove hit a 2-run double.
Senior pitcher Kelsey Anderson went 9 up, 9 down through three innings.

Burnsville added three runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by a RBI triple by junior Laura Nadeau. Junior Abby Johnson knocked in a run in the seventh, making the final score 8-0.
Burnsville improved to 6-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

Burnsville did not play in the Mankato West invitational last weekend due to cold weather.
