Burnsville Football Falls To Eastview

The Burnsville football team lost to Eastview by a 14-7 margin on Tuesday in the Section 3AAAAA quarterfinal in Apple Valley.

The Blaze opened up the game with a first quarter touchdown by Jamond Bailey. Bailey scored on a two-yard run to give Burnsville a 7-0 lead.

But Eastview responded in the second. Ryan Reger connected with Aaron Wesser for a five-yard score, and after an unsuccessful extra point attempt the Lightning trailed 7-6.

In the fourth, Eric Krupke scored on a three-yard run, and a two-point conversion gave the Lightning a 14-7 lead.

With the win, Eastview improved to 3-5 on the season. Burnsville ends the year with a 2-7 record.
